Delbert Gordon was born in Fort Defiance, Arizona in 1955. He was raised in Tohatchi, New Mexico. Gordon Delbert is a self taught silversmith and goldsmith. He has been a teacher for other silversmiths, including his nephew Derrick Gordon. I love his traditional work, it's reminiscent of the vintage old style bracelets and he has created some of the most beautiful Navajo jewelry there is.
This is a stunning bracelet. It features a Turquoise Mountain turquoise stone that is a gorgeous lighter blue with darker blue and a bit of gold matrix. The Blue looks much better in person. There's and incredible amount of silver work and stamping detail on this cuff, please refer to pictures.
I took a lot of pictures below so you can really see what you’re getting.
It's just a little tight on me and I have a 6 1/2" wrist.
It's marked sterling, signed and hallmarked It measures just over 1 tall in the front The stone is 5/8" tall by 1 1/4" wide
It has an inside of approx
5 1/8" with a barley flexible gap of 1 1/8"
It has a diameter of 2 1/8"
Weight: 75.8 grams on my scale. It's a great solid bracelet
I placed a quarter there for scale.
