Purple Spiny Oyster Cluster Ring Sz 8.5

This gorgeous Navajo made ring is a size 8 1/2 to 8 3/4. It features deep purple spiny oyster cabochons, each shell sets in a smooth bezel. The purple is darker than the pictures show. There are small silver raindrop beads around the border.

Weight: 6.7 grams on my scale.
It's marked sterling and signed L Ganado. It measures 1 1/4" tall by just over 1/2" wide. It has a sturdy split shank band. I placed a quarter there for scale.

Spiny Oyster Shell, Spondylus Brodnip Princess, is found in the Sea of Cortez, Baja California, Mexico.
