Dark Purple with White Spiny Oyster Ring Sz

This beautiful ring was made by Navajo Artist Bobby Piaso Jr. It's a size 6. It has a dark purple spiny oyster blending to white.

Please note: The spiny oyster is bright and polished and is the purple is darker than the pictures show.

The shell sets in a sawtooth bezel with deep notched silver detailing around the border. It has a sturdy split shank band.

weight: 8.3 grams on my scale.
It's marked sterling and signed inside the band. It measures 1 1/8" tall by 7/8" at it's widest point. I placed a quarter there for scale.

Spiny Oyster Shell, Spondylus Brodnip Princess, is found in the Sea of Cortez, Baja California, Mexico.
