Stamped Sterling Silver & Repousse Ring sz 8.25

This is a fabulous large Ring, size 8 1/2. It has fine detailed stamp work as well as repousse work, which is a decorative technique of raising a pattern on the silver. It has a sturdy split shank band.

The sterling silver has been oxidized which gives it a great vintage look. Oxidation is a chemical process which tarnishes the surface of a metal leaving a lovely patina finish. Sterling Silver Oxidizes to black and looks fantastic in Native American Jewelry.

It's marked sterling and signed Francis inside the band.
It measures 1 1/2" tall by a very slightly rounded 5/8" at it's widest point.
