Turquoise Disk & Heishi Necklace

This beautiful necklace is 18" long with a simple eye hook closure. It features small uniform turquoise stone disks that are a bright, deep ocean blue. They are darker than the pictures show. There's dark brown heshi between the stones and near the clasp. Also a few blue turquoise beads uniformly scattered between the brown heishi, please refer to pictures. Brings it all together.
The blue looks much better in person, all monitors see colors differently

The turquoise disks are about 3/8".
weight: approx 36 grams on my scale

The literal meaning of heishi is "shell" and specifically refers to pieces of shell which have been drilled and ground into beads and then strung into necklaces. more information on this fascinating subject can be found on the internet
