Deep Glossy Black Onyx Pendant ~ Navajo

This large large beautiful pendant was made by Navajo artist Alfred Martinez. Please ignore the glare on the Onyx, it's all a deep glossy black. The stone sets in a smooth bezel and is surrounded by thick twisted silver roping. There are applied silver leaves, curls and silver beads above the gemstone.

weight: 17.6 grams on my scale
It's marked sterling and signed AM. It measures, not including the bail, 1 3/4" tall by 1 1/4" wide. The bail is 5/8" tall with an opening of 3/8". I placed a quarter there for scale.
