Vintage Turquoise Clip On Earrings
These stunning old clip on earrings came to me by way of a well respected Auction House here In New Mexico. They were difficult to photograph because of their unusual shape. Each has 6 small turquoise stones set in a fine sawtooth bezel. I really like the beaded silver border around each stone.
Weight: 7.5 grams on my scale. They are unmarked as to silver content and maker which is not unusual for the times. They are about 2 1/2” tall, but curved as you can see, by 3/8” wide.
I placed a quarter there for scale.
I'm very much a fan of Vintage Native American Jewelry. This jewelry has not been cleaned and will not be perfect.
There's a certain amount of wear on older pieces which is to be expected
and I always wonder what stories they'd have to tell in their travels through time.
Some pieces are unmarked as to artist and silver content. What you see is what you get!
