Vintage Turquoise Ring sz 6
This wonderful vintage ring and is a size 6, circa 1970’s. It's in great uncleaned condition.
it has a natural, deep blue turquoise stone with a dark spiderwebbed matrix. There’s a bit of green going on through the middle, Natural stones turn green after a while from the oils in the skin etc, from handling. The stone sets in a smooth silver bezel and is surrounded by unusual silver pieces, please refer to pictures. There's twisted silver wire for the border.
Weight: 9.6 grams on my scale.
It's unmarked as to silver content and artist, which is not unusual for the times.
It measures 1 1/8" tall by 3/4”at it’s widest point. It has a sturdy split shank band.
I placed a quarter there for scale.
I'm very much a fan of Vintage Native American Jewelry. This jewelry has not been cleaned and will not be perfect.
There's a certain amount of wear on older pieces which is to be expected
and I always wonder what stories they'd have to tell in their travels through time!
Some pieces are unmarked as to artist and silver content. What you see is what you get!
