Boulder Turquoise ring sz 9

This wonderful ring made by Navajo Artist and silversmith Mary Ann Spencer. it's a size 9. I was very pleased to find several of her pieces. Picture and bio below.

The earthy looking Boulder Turquoise stone has mostly deep dark golden browns with just a hint of red and patches of tealish blue turquoise. There's some natural pitting in the stone. The stone sets in a smooth bezel. It has applied silver pieces with stamp work as well as silver rain drop beads around the border.

It measures 1 1/8" tall by 7/8" at it's widest point
weight: 9.6 grams on my scale.
It's marked sterling and signed M Spencer
I placed a quarter there for scale.

MARY ANN SPENCER

Mary Ann Spencer is a master silversmith. She was born in Gallup, New Mexico and began making jewelry when she was 13 years old. Growing up on the Navajo reservation Mary Ann learned how to incorporate new designs with older and more traditional styles. For this reason she can create a variety of fine and exquisite hand made works of art. Her pieces are stamped with her hallmark M Spencer.
