This Amazing belt is a real eye catcher! It was handmade by Noted Navajo Artist Andy Cadman.
It features Gorgeous Sky Blue Sleeping Beauty Turquoise.
Each concho is decorated with 29 turquoise cabochons and a bit of stampwork.
The buckle is similar to early Navajo pieces with an open center and has bezel set turquoise, repousse work, which is a which is a decorative technique of raising a pattern on the silver and beautiful stamping.
I took a lot of pictures below on different backgrounds so you can really see what youre getting. And my first time dressing a mannequin! that was fun.
The Black Leather Belt is 58 long - You will have to punch a whole for the buckle.
The Buckle is 2 1/4 tall by 3 wide
The leather backed conchos are 2 tall by 2 1/2 wide
Belt weight: approx 510 grams on my scale. (About 1 lb 3 oz)
Andy Cadman was born in 1966 in Gallup, New Mexico.
He began his career in silversmithing at the age of 23.
He is a brother of Darrell Cadman and half-brother to Gary, David, and Sunshine Reeves, well-known silversmiths. He signs his work A. Cadman.
I placed a quarter there for scale.
