Leather Medicine Bag Apache

A medicine bag can contain numberless objects. These objects are as distinct as the person wearing it. Many people add their own "medicine" or healing objects. It can be filled with talismans such as fetishes, feathers, stones, sage, sweetgrass and items with personal or supernatural meanings. More information on these pouches can be found on the internet.

This Medicine Bag was made by Artist Brenda Smith of the Jicarilla Apache Nation. This leather is a really nice deep dark brown. It's a little more brown that the pictures show.

The main bag is 3 3/4" tall by 2 1/2" wide, plus fringe

Included with the Medicine Bag is a Certificate of Authenticity with the Artists name and signature.
I placed a quarter there for scale.
