Description
Miniature Navajo Dance Rattle
Native American rattles and shakers are very important in the Navajo culture as well as other tribes. Rattles are used in Native American rituals, dances, religious festivals and by Medicine Men.
This miniature dance rattle was made by Navajo artist Elvis Saltwater. This one is more of a modern day replica of a historical artifact.
A perfect southwest decorative piece with the option of hanging it on a wall. It even rattles.
It measures 5 1/4" long with the rattle part being 1 1/2" wide.
Not suitable for babies
I placed a quarter there for scale.
Sure to make a Fine addition to any collection, or a great gift! Please note: Pictures are enlarged to show detail, remember everything looks bigger on line :)
