Zuni Serpentine Lizard Fetish

This stunning Lizard fetish by Zuni Artist Anthony Mecale. The Lizard is agile & good at conversation. I took a lot of pictures below.

This hand carved Serpentine fetish actually is about the color of green Jade then blends to a light pale green near the tail. Note the fine detail work on the body as well as on the bottom of the piece. It has blue turquoise eyes. The tail is flared up beautifully to lay against the body.

Weight: 26 grams on my scale.
It’s signed on the bottom feet with A M.
It measures about 5/8” tall by 3 1/4” long and is approx 5/8” wide. I placed a quarter there for scale.
