BIG Beautiful Dragonfly Ring
If you're a Dragonfly lover this is a must have!
This handmade, Big Beautiful ring was made by Navajo artist Vincent Platero, picture & bio below. The band is adjustable and is presently a size 9 ish, I think it could go up one size at least, or down several sizes. There's wonderful stamp work on the body and wings as well as on the shank. It has twisted silver wire for the antennas and applied silver beads for the eyes. The silver has a brushed satin finish to it that gives it an antique look. At the time of this listing I have matching earrings available. It's marked sterling and signed VJP.
It measures 2" tall by
2 1/8" at it's widest point.
weight: 12.8 grams on my scale
I placed a quarter there for scale.
Vincent Platero
Navajo artist Vincent Platero was born on May 9, 1957. He was taught his craft by his Mother, Helen Platero. He specializes in silver jewelry and conchos. He's been creating art since 1996 and has won awards at the Denver Indian Market. His favorite activity is Stamping.
