This ankle bracelet was made by Santo Domingo (Kewa) Artist Delbert Crespin.
It's 9" long with a lovely design.
It has large heishi of blue turquoise and black jet.
At the time of this listing I have 2 exactly the same
Weight: 3.4 grams on my scale
The heishi pieces are uniform and are about 1/8".
I placed a quarter there for scale.
The literal meaning of heishi is shell and specifically refers to pieces of shell which have been drilled and ground into beads and then strung into necklaces. more information on this fascinating subject can be found on the internet
