This fabulous hefty large bracelet was made by Navajo Artist John Nelson
The White Buffalo Stone is very striking with white and black. The stone sets in smooth bezel
with a carved silver border, stamp work and applied silver concho like buttons.
It's marked sterling and signed
For the average wrist, it can be carefully adjusted to fit
It has an inside of about 5 1/2" plus a gap 1"
It's 1" tall in the front
The stone is just over 5/8" tall by 7/8" wide.
Weight: 31.7 grams on my scale
I placed a quarter there for scale.
White Buffalo Stone, also known as Sacred Buffalo Stone, is white with black and brown inclusions. It is sometimes called "white turquoise" but it is not turquoise and from what I gather it's comes from only one mine in Nevada, which is owned by the Otteson family. It's a great looking stone and this goes with everything, what's not like about black and white?
Sure to make a Fine addition to any collection, or a great gift! Please note: Pictures are enlarged to show detail, remember everything looks bigger on line :)
