This bracelet cuff was created by Navajo Artist & Silversmith Gilbert Tom
It has a big beautiful Royston turquoise stone that is blue with cloud like white and dark gold.
The stone sets in a scalloped bezel and is surrounded by twisted silver wire. There's
an incredible amount of silver work with applied sterling silver pieces
with stamp work as well as silver concho like buttons.
It's unmarked sterling silver, It's not signed.
It has an inside of about 5 1/2" plus a gap 1 3/8"
It's 1 5/8" tall in the front
The stone is 1 1/8" tall by 1" wide.
I have a 6 1/2" wrist and it fits pretty well.
Weight: 51.9 grams on my scale
placed a quarter there for scale.
Royston is a district in Nevada consisting of three turquoise mines: Bunker Hill, Oscar Wehrend, and the main producer, Royal Blue. Royston is known for its beautiful colors ranging from deep green to rich, light blues set off by a heavy brown matrix. The Royston district is still producing some turquoise of high quality, but in limited amounts. It is a relatively soft turquoise and should be given proper care to maintain ones" investment.
