This stunning size 10 ring was created by Noted Navajo Artist Peterson Johnson,
picture and Bio below. The Kingman turquoise stone is a wonderful blue with just a bit of matrix.
The stone sets in a smooth bezel with an applied silver leaf, flower and silver curls.
And yes, the leaves and flowers are all handcrafted.
It has his unusual signature shank, please refer to pictures.
The hand display is not to scale, its way smaller.
It's marked sterling and signed Peterson Johnson Navajo with a bowed arrow beneath.
It measures 1 3/8" tall by just over 1" at it's widest point.
The turquoise stone is just over 1 1/4" tall by 3/4" wide.
weight: 13.5 grams on my scale.
I placed a quarter there for scale.
