This size 10 to 10 1/4 ring was created by Noted Navajo Artist Peterson Johnson,
It's not signed. The Boulder turquoise stone has gorgeous bluish green with golden browns.
The stone sets in a smooth bezel.
It has his unusual signature shank, please refer to pictures.
The hand display is not to scale, it's little.
It's marked sterling but not signed.
It measures 1" tall by about 5/8" at it's widest point..
weight: 8.5 grams on my scale.
I placed a quarter there for scale.
Peterson Johnson is a self-taught Navajo artist who has won numerous awards throughout the Southwest. He was born in 1956 and began creating silverwork in 1976. His jewelry is made in a traditional Navajo style with his own personal style. All of his jewelry is meticulously crafted with skill and precision. Peterson and his wife Alyce live in Gallup, New Mexico.
