This gorgeous ring is a size 10 to 10 1/4. It was created by Noted Navajo Artist Peterson Johnson,
picture and bio below. The Kingman turquoise stone is a deep mottled blue with brown to black.
The stone sets in a smooth bezel with an applied silver leaf, flower and silver curls.
And yes, the leaves and flowers are all handcrafted.
It has his unusual signature shank, please refer to pictures.
It's marked sterling and signed Peterson Johnson Navajo with a bowed arrow beneath.
It measures 1" tall by about 1" at it's widest point.
The turquoise stone is almost 1" tall by 9/16 wide.
weight: 9.9 grams on my scale.

Peterson Johnson is a self-taught Navajo artist who has won numerous awards throughout the Southwest. He was born in 1956 and began creating silverwork in 1976. His jewelry is made in a traditional Navajo style with his own personal style. All of his jewelry is meticulously crafted with skill and precision. Peterson and his wife Alyce live in Gallup, New Mexico.
