This large ring is a size 8 and was created by San Felipe artist and silversmith Philip Sanchez.
The Boulder Turquoise stone is light beige/ gray with a bit of golden brown and a narrow ribbon of green.
The stone sets in a smooth bezel with carved silver border.
The hand display is not to scale, it's smaller.

Boulder Turquoise is sometimes called Ribbon Turquoise and it's cut in such a way that the
turquoise is the accent in the mother rock. It often looks like a river flowing through
a desert or landscape.

Philip Sanchez, San Felipe Artist and Silversmith, was born in 1951 at the San Felipe Pueblo. He was raised on a large ranch with his 8 sisters and 5 brothers. They grew up tending to a variety of livestock and farming fresh fruits and vegetables. Philip stayed close to his roots with livestock of his own and enjoys horseback riding to check on livestock or just to go for a ride at sunset.

It's marked sterling and signed
It measures just over 1 3/8" tall by just over 3/4" wide.
The stone is 1 3/16" tall by just over 1/2" wide.
