This stunning handcrafted pendant was created by Navajo Artist Cecil Atencio.
It has a large Wild Horse stone, sometimes referred to as Crazy Horse Stone.
The stone is very white with a slight purple hued brown matrix. The stone sets
in a smooth bezel and is surrounded by twisted silver wire with stamp work around the border.
It comes with a really nice 18" sterling silver link chain.
It's marked sterling and signed.
It measures 1 3/4" tall, plus 3/8" bail, by 1 1/8" at it's widest point.
The stone is 1 1/8" tall by almost 3/4" wide

Cecil Atencio was born on the Navajo reservation at Kimbeto, NM. In June 1956 to Nina and Chee Atencio.
Cecil's sister Esther and her husband Alfred Largo taught him the art of Silversmithing and told Cecil that no mater what happened in his life he could always fall back on Silversmithing.
Cecil has been a Silversmith for almost 30 years and is known for his large pieces like this Concho belt.
He currently lives on the Navajo reservation at To'Hajiilee', New Mexico with his wife Mae and two children Carmelita and Ephraim, also his two grandchildren Louis and Alliana Atencio.
