This sweet small pendant was created by Navajo artist Mary Ann John.
The Sonoran Turquoise stone is a mossy bright green blending to darker green with
a bit of golden brown. It comes with a really nice 18" sterling silver chain. It's marked sterling and signed.
It's 7/8" tall, plus 3/8" bail, by 5/8" at it's widest point.
Pendant weight: 6.9 grams on my scale.
I placed a quarter there for scale.
Sonoran Gold Turquoise is mined in Sonora, Mexico near the city of Cananea. The mine is located at the Campitos Mountain. Sonoran Gold is a beautiful turquoise comes in an aqua blue, lime green, two tone blue and can have stunning yellow gold matrices.
