These gorgeous handcrafted earrings were created by Kewa (Santo Domingo) Artist Daniel Coriz.
They have inlays of black jet, white mother of pearl and sterling silver.

Daniel Coriz was born in 1964 and resides in the pueblo of Kewa (Santa Domingo).
He learned the art of jewelry making from his parents, Valentino and Nestoria Coriz. He has been creating hand cut inlay and heishi since 1989
and is the 4th generation in his family to make jewelry. Daniel Coriz's inlay works is exquisite and so well done. He has been featured
in the New Mexico magazine and is on constant display at the Smithsonian Institute.
They are 1 1/8 long by 3/4" wide

In 2009, Santo Domingo Pueblo's tribal council decided to change the pueblo's name back to the
ancestral name Kewa Pueblo (pronounced KEE-wah)
