This extraordinary piece was handcrafted by Navajo artist Randy Enditto. I understand
he's recently passed from COVID.
This is more or less a chocker kind of necklace with a sterling silver link chain.
It's about 21" long. It features 32 high grade Sonoran Gold Turquoise stones. Each bright,
gorgeous stone is carefully set in a smooth bezel.
It's marked sterling and signed.
The middle triangle piece is 2" tall by 2 1/2" wide.
weight: 123 grams
Certificate of Authenticity included.
I placed a quarter there for scale.
Sonoran Gold Turquoise is mined in Sonora, Mexico near the city of Cananea. The mine is located at the Campitos Mountain. Sonoran Gold is a beautiful turquoise that comes in an aqua blue, lime green, two tone blue and can have stunning yellow gold matrices. Unlike most turquoise, Sonoran Gold is not mined in veins but forms inside clay deposits as individual nuggets.
Sure to make a Fine addition to any collection, or a great gift! Please note: Pictures are enlarged
to show detail, remember everything looks bigger on line :)
